After his admission to the Virginia State Bar in 1990, Paul entered private practice. Since then he has represented children, adults, and businesses before the state and federal courts of Virginia.
Paul is a graduate of the College of William and Mary (BA), James Madison University (MBA), and George Mason University School of Law (JD).

Paul has two offices to serve his clients. The Northern Virginia office is located in the Tycon Tower at Tysons Corner. The Harrisonburg office is located next to the Downtown 56 restaurant in the City Exchange building. The office is close to the courthouse and not far from James Madison University (JMU).
